JobzMall Takes the Working with Cancer Pledge

Cancer changes enough. Work should not become another source of fear.
JobzMall has taken the Working with Cancer Pledge, joining a global movement of more than 5,000 companies committed to creating more open, supportive, and recovery-forward workplaces for people affected by cancer. The movement, launched by Publicis Groupe, now reaches more than 40 million workers worldwide.
The reason for the pledge is difficult to ignore: 50% of employees with cancer are afraid to tell their employer.
That should change.

For JobzMall, the connection is direct.
As the world's largest video talent marketplace, we spend every day thinking about the relationship between people and work. That responsibility does not disappear when life becomes difficult.
People facing cancer should be able to focus on their health without feeling that they must hide what they are going through to protect their careers.
A commitment that has to mean something
Taking the pledge is not about adding another badge.
It is a commitment to build a workplace where people affected by cancer can feel supported, seen, and secure, and to turn that commitment into meaningful action. The Working with Cancer movement provides employers with practical ways to strengthen policies, flexibility, community, coaching, and support for caregivers.
Because the measure of a workplace is not only how it treats people when everything is going well.
It is how it stands beside them when it isn't.
